CALLING FOLKS WHO LOVE ALL THINGS MONUMENTAL!

We’re building our 2025-26 Monumental Ambassador Team — and we want YOU on it!

Whether your favorite part is lacing up to take on a 1-Mile through downtown Indy, tackling a half marathon at Fort Ben, or soaking up all 26.2 miles through Indy’s historic neighborhoods, we’re looking for energetic, motivated, and creative individuals to join our Monumental Ambassador team for 2025-26.

All applications must be submitted via the provided link. Applications are subject to approval by the Beyond Monumental team.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO:

– Are familiar with and excited about promoting the 2025 CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon, Half Marathon, & 5K, as well as Beyond Monumental’s other 2025 races:
– the Indianapolis 5K & Monumental Mile – June 21
– the Indy Half Marathon at Fort Ben – October 4
– Identify with our mission to “actively support youth health and well-being by providing access to exceptional events and programs centered around the sport of running”.
– Are confident in and demonstrate skills in one or more of the following areas: social media/blogging, community outreach, group recruitment, and involvement in running clubs or other health-focused social groups.
– Are able to commit to being an active Monumental Ambassador from June 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026.
– Are registered for the 2025 CNO FINANCIAL INDIANAPOLIS MONUMENTAL MARATHON prior to submitting your application.

WHAT YOU’LL COMMIT TO DOING:

– Promote Beyond Monumental’s races – INDIANAPOLIS 5K & MONUMENTAL MILE, INDY HALF MARATHON AT FORT BEN, and the CNO FINANCIAL INDIANAPOLIS MONUMENTAL MARATHON – via your preferred channels and/or to various clubs/groups/networks.
– Provide a short bio and photo/headshot for our Monumental Ambassador webpages and social posts.
– Add “Monumental Ambassador” to your respective social media bios.
– Join and participate in the private 2025-26 Monumental Ambassador Facebook group.
– Work at least one 2-hour ambassador shift at the Indy Half Marathon at Fort Ben Packet Pickup (10/3) or the Monumental Health and Fitness Expo (11/6-11/7).
– Have the chance to earn additional incentives for promoting 2026 registration launch (Nov. – Jan.).
– Complete an exit survey upon the end of your ambassador term.
